Tataa Biocenter to Offer Basepair NGS Tools

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Tataa Biocenter has signed a deal to offer Basepair's next-generation sequencing data analysis tools to its customers, and to include the software in its NGS training courses, the companies announced.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Having a partner like Basepair whose software can process the analysis in about an hour was a great fit for our business," Tataa President Mikael Kubista said in a statement. "We also appreciate the fact that the user does not have to be a computer scientist or bioinfomatician to run the analysis."

The deal with Basepair is the latest in a series of such arrangements Tataa has signed recently, including distribution deals with Lexogen, Swift Bioscience, and Yikon.
