Susan Koppy has become vice president of corporate development at Transcept Pharmaceuticals. She joins the company from Idenix Pharmaceuticals, where she was senior vice president of business and corporate development. Previously, she was vice president of strategy and business development at Applied Biosystems. Koppy holds a bachelor's degree in genetics and cell biology from the University of Minnesota.
 

 

Harold Hills has retired as director of the DNA sequencing and enzyme freezer program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is a member of the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities.
