NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – SeqWell said today that it has recently signed international distribution agreements covering 15 countries for its PlexWell technology and products for multiplexed next-generation sequencing applications.
The exclusive distribution partners include Custom Science in Australia; Beijing Pukairui Biotech in China; Thunder Bioscience in Korea; Custom Science Aukland in New Zealand; Sciencewerke in Singapore, Malyasia, and Indonesia; Sopachem in Belgium, Netherlands, and Denmark; Zotal in Israel; Labtech International in the UK and Ireland; and Nippon Genetics Europe in Germany and Austria.
Beverly, Massachusetts-based SeqWell said that its PlexWell normalizing iterative barcoding library prep technology enables the creation of balanced multiplexed NGS library pools without the need for sample input or NGS library normalization.
"PlexWell products have generated compelling results from customers both for established applications such as microbial genome and amplicon sequencing, as well as exciting emerging applications such as single-cell RNA-seq and low-pass whole-genome sequencing," SeqWell Founder and CEO Joseph Mellor said in a statement. "It's time to expand our global commercial reach and enable more researchers to eliminate time-consuming and costly steps to normalize libraries and obtain better efficiency on their sequencing runs."
