Invitrogen has launched the SequalPrep system for long PCR and PCR product enrichment and normalization. It consists of the SequalPrep Long PCR kit and the SequalPrep Normalization Plate 96 kit. According to the company, the PCR kit allows researchers to reduce the number of enrichment reactions required by providing long range PCR with high amplification success of up to 20 kilobases and little or no optimization.
