NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Portuguese firm IPATIMUP Diagnostics said that it has been named a certified service provider for Ion Torrent's sequencing platform.

The company received the CSP designation last month. It said that being a CSP assures customers that IPATIMUP Diagnostics has been trained and complies with standards for next-generation sequencing established by Ion Torrent, a Life Technologies business.
