The American Board of Genetic Counseling has appointed Susan Estabrooks Hahn of the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami to be its president-elect.

Hahn is an instructor at the John T. Macdonald Foundation Department of Human Genetics at the Miller School. Hahn will serve as president-elect for ABCG in 2013 and as president in 2014.

The ABCG is a credentialing organization that provides certification for the genetic counseling profession in the US and Canada.
