DNAnexus has appointed Tim O'Brien as vice president of sales. He joins the company from Oracle's Health Sciences Global Business Unit, where he led the America's healthcare sales team. Previously, he held sales and sales management positions at IDBS, Infotrieve, and Life Technologies.

WaferGen has appointed Keith Warner as chief operating officer and Michael Henighan as chief financial officer.

Warner has served as a consultant to several life science investment firms since 2009 and was also previously vice president of worldwide marketing at Novartis/Chiron and CEO of Biodesix.

Henighan was a founder and CFO of Aplegen prior to joining WaferGen. Before that, he served as CFO or corporate controller at Alpha Innotech, HemoSense, and Cholestech.
