Allan Bombard has become chief medical officer of Sequenom, a new position, the company said this week. He will oversee Sequenom’s clinical and medical affairs, including clinical strategy, operations, and clinical advocacy.

Prior to joining Sequenom, Bombard was CEO of Lenetix Medical Laboratory. He holds an MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, an MBA from the University of San Diego, and a BA from Colgate University.
