PacBio Signs on Millennium Science as Distributor for Australia, New Zealand

Premium

Millennium Science will be distributing Pacific Biosciences' PacBio RS single-molecule sequencer in Australia and New Zealand, the companies said this week.

Privately held Millennium, based in Melbourne, delivers hardware, software, and consumables to the science industry, focusing on "high technology products." It provides pre- and post-sales technical support through technical sales representatives, application scientists, service engineers, and customer service staff.

Earlier this month, PacBio said that it had signed on Hong Kong-based Gene Company as its distributor for China (IS 11/8/2011).

"Our distribution partners, including Millennium Science, are key to our success outside the United States," said Ram Laxman, PacBio's vice president of sales Asia, in a statement.
