SoftGenetics has released the latest version of its NextGene software for analyzing next-generation sequence data. The new version includes tools for HLA analysis and the ability to analyze sequence data generated from Life Technologies' SOLiD instrument. Additionally, it has improved assembly of Ion Torrent PGM data, including new coverage normalization of the Floton assembler, automatic report generation capabilities, and other features.
