New Products: Sage Science's PippinHT; MacVector Software Update

Sage Science has launched PippinHT, a high-throughput DNA sizing platform for next-generation sequencing workflows. The platform incorporates the company’s sizing technology and increases throughput to 24 samples per run, compared to a maximum of five with Pippin Prep or BluePippin, and shortens run times by about 50 percent.


MacVector has launched MacVector 13.5, software for analyzing next-generation sequencing data. The new release includes enhancements to the Align to Reference tool, allowing it to handle circular sequences; and Align to Folder, which can scan NGS datasets with a DNA or protein query.
