Life Technologies' Ion Torrent is offering discounts on its PGM and Proton machines through Nov. 27.

It will offer a 20 percent discount for researchers who buy a PGM, Proton, and the Ion OneTouch 2 System. Researchers who buy eight packs of the 318 chip with their PGM and OneTouch2 systems will receive 30 percent off the PGM. The company is also offering 40 percent off the price of a Proton for researchers who trade in an Illumina Genome Analyzer machine.
