Lexogen has released the Sense mRNA-seq Library Prep Kit V2 for Illumina. The kit uses magnetic bead-based purification and integrates external barcodes. It is compatible with automation on all major liquid handling systems.

NextCode Health has launched the NextCode Exchange, a genomic data analysis and collaboration service. The service lets researchers visualize and share aligned sequence reads in real time using a browser. Data-sharing settings are adjustable.

Biomax Informatics has added its Pedant-Pro technology to Illumina's BaseSpace applications store. The Pedant BaseSpace Apps allows researchers to analyze bacterial DNA sequence with the company's genome analysis engine, Pedant-Pro Sequence Analysis Suite. They can also share results via the BaseSpace cloud.
