Premium

Illumina has fully launched BaseSpace Apps, which allows customers to purchase Illumina and third-party bioinformatics applications. Included in the launch is BaseSpace iCredits, a way of purchasing apps within BaseSpace, which allows developers to add e-commerce functionality to the apps.

The company has also launched TruSeq Nano DNA sample preparation kit, which enables library preparation from as little as 100 nanograms of DNA input. Both low-throughput and high-throughput versions of the kit are available. The kits can prepare sequencing libraries in less than a day, according to the company.
