New Products: Illumina's Accelerator Program


Illumina has launched its Accelerator Program, a business accelerator that will focus on speeding up the time to market and lowering barriers to entry for individuals and start-ups that are developing next-generation sequencing applications.

Illumina will invite participants to a six-month program, where it will provide technology and business guidance as well as $100,000 in support, including access to sequencing systems and reagents and laboratory space at facilities in San Francisco. Initial investors include Yuri Milner and Silicon Valley Bank.
