Eurofins MWG Operon has launched its NGS online shop. Included in the process is the NGS Favourites — predefined service packages that are optimized for specific applications, including genome, transcriptome, and exome sequencing.

Rubicon Genomics has launched PicoPlex DNA-Seq, a single-cell library preparation kit for use with Illumina's next-generation sequencers. The kit is especially suited for use in in vitro fertilization, reproductive health, and circulating tumor cell applications, according to the company. The library prep process is three steps and is performed in a single tube or well in less than three hours.

Covaris has launched TruXtrac High Throughput FFPE DNA Extraction and Purification kit, an optimized workflow for extracting high quality DNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded samples for next-generation sequencing applications. The kit uses Covaris' patented Adaptive Focused Acoustics technology.
