CLC Bio and BioQL have launched MedQL Variant Prioritizer, a plugin for the CLC Genomics Workbench. It connects with MedQL's online database to prioritize variants in gene regions based on their degree of association with a phenotype. The database contains more than 20 million articles from Medline. The plugin can be downloaded for free here.

DNA Genotek has launched GenoFind Genomic Services, a DNA extraction service that is optimized for oral samples collected with DNA Genotek's Oragene products.
