SoftGenetics has released a new haplotype analysis application for its GeneMarker genotyping software. According to the company, the addition eliminates errors that arise from manually transferring data from genotyping software to pedigree analysis software. The new application automatically draws family groups and assigns a first-order-approximation phase of the alleles. It also deduces the haplotype of children from familial data.
