COSMIC release 44, the Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in Cancer, is available here. The new release contains data from a publication on glioblastoma by the Cancer Genome Atlas, an initiative of the National Cancer Institute and the National Human Genome Research Institute, as well as four new curated genes and eight new curated fusion pairs. In addition, results from a study by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute's Cancer Genome Project on adenoid cystic carcinoma are included.
