Golden Helix has launched its SNP and Variation Suite 7.5 to analyze, visualize, and manage genomic data from next-generation sequencing and microarray studies. The upgraded software contains new tools for rare variant analysis, improved statistics, and flexible visualization tools, according to the company.


Mogene is now offering sequencing services with extra-long reads on Roche's 454 GS FLX+ platform. The St. Louis-based services company recently expanded its operations and has hired additional personnel to be able to handle more projects.
