Natera Receives CE Marking for Software

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Natera today announced that its cloud-based software has received CE marking, allowing the company to market the product in the European Union and other countries that accept the designation.

The software supports multiple applications, including Natera's Panorama non-invasive prenatal test, and delivers the company's analytical services to its laboratory customers in a manner that is highly secure as well as easy to integrate and scale, Natera said.

"This will help us to meet the needs of our laboratory partners in the EU who want to implement Natera's proprietary algorithms for clinical use," Natera Chief Technology Officer Jonathan Sheena said in a statement.
