Murrieta Genomics Forms Sequencing Partnership With Alliance Research Centers

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) — Murrieta Genomics said today that it has partnered with clinical trial research site management firm Alliance Research Centers to offer genomic sequencing services to clinical study sponsors and participants.

Based in Laguna Hills, California, Alliance Research provides clinical trial services to study sponsors, investigative sites, and physician practices. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Pharmaceutical companies are constantly working to bring new treatments to market in the safest and most responsible way with the ultimate goal of advancing patient care," Alliance Research CEO Justin Deck said in a statement. "The promise of incorporating genetic information into patients' records will help us reduce trial costs and speed drugs to market."

Murrieta signed an agreement last month to promote SeqOnce Biosciences' next-generation sequencing sample prep technology at its Murietta, California-based genomic sequencing business incubator facility. In December, it partnered with genomics blockchain startup EncrypGen.
