Illumina has certified LGC Genomics to offer sequencing services on the Illumina platform. To become certified, LGC Genomics completed a two-phase process that included minimum data generation, data certification, and an on-site audit of its facility and processes.

Neils Kruize, sales director of LGC, said in a statement that the certification is "an important development for our next generation sequencing service."
