Human Longevity, SleepScore Labs Partner for Personalized Sleep Program

NEW YORK – Personalized health company Human Longevity (HLI) said Monday that it has inked a partnership with Carlsbad, California-based SleepScore Labs to improve sleep health through the integration of whole-genome sequencing data with sleep data.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the partnership, HLI will integrate its AI-driven genomic analysis capabilities with SleepScore's sleep datasets to develop algorithms for personalized sleep programs. The resulting product will be integrated into HLI's longevity-focused offerings, enabling the company's clients to enhance sleep and overall health with actionable insights, according to HLI. The personalized sleep program will be available to clients of both companies later in 2025.

SleepScore Labs CEO Colin Lawlor told GenomeWeb that the firms plan to conduct a large-scale genome-wide association study of sleep with HLI members, using whole-genome sequencing data and longitudinal sleep data from SleepScore's Sleep.AI platform. "Human Longevity members will also have access to the SleepScore sleep improvement program, which enables highly personalized sleep coaching as well as screening for significant sleep disorders," he said in an email. "Combining these unique sleep capabilities with cutting-edge genomic sequencing will enable both companies to drive significant new breakthroughs in the space."

"For over a decade, Human Longevity has recognized sleep as a cornerstone of health and longevity," Wei-Wu He, Human Longevity's executive chairman, said in a statement. "By combining genomic insights with advanced sleep tracking, advanced insights, and screening, we are setting a new standard for sleep optimization."
