Eric Setzer has become chief financial officer and Gary Boch senior director of sales at Expression Analysis, the company said last week. Setzer was previously CFO of Kolis Scientific. Boch comes to EA from Amaxa, where he was national director of industrial markets.
 

 
Three members of Applied Biosystems' board of directors will join the board of the Life Technologies, the new company that will result from the merger of ABI and Invitrogen, when the transaction closes: George Adam, Jr., chairman of Recondo Technology; Arnold Levine, professor at the Institute for Advanced Study; and William Longfield, retired chairman and CEO of C.R. Bard. The nine current members of Invitrogen's board of directors will also become directors of the new company.
