Genome Express, COSMIC 35

Innovadyne Technologies has launched Genome Express, a high-throughput, 16-channel dispenser for use in genomic applications, such as setting up PCR and sequencing reactions. The new system can perform 384 1-microliter reaction setups, including template transfers and master mix addition, in less than 10 minutes. According to the company, the instrument complements existing PCR and sequencing platforms as well as emerging high-throughput systems that require lower volume additions.

Cosmic release 35 is now available here. The new release contains curations for four new tumor suppressor genes, and further curation of EWSR1/FLI1 gene fusions in Ewing's sarcoma.
