GATC Biotech Certified for Services on Illumina GA IIx

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – GATC Biotech has received certification from Illumina to provide their customers next-generation sequencing and other services using the Genome Analyzer IIx.

The German sequencing services firm has completed the Certified Service Provider Program (CSPro), which involves a two-stage process for testing sequencing data. Receiving the CSPro certification also gives the company preferential access to new Illumina technical developments, platforms, and upgrades, said GATC.

The certification will be confirmed by annual audits and supplemented with additional training measures, the company said.

GATC Biotech is headquartered in Constance, Germany, and it has subsidiaries in the UK, France, and Sweden.
