Eurofins' Louisville NGS Facility Achieves ISO Certifications

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Eurofins MWG Operon said today its Louisville, Ky., facility, which provides overnight sequencing services, has achieved two ISO certifications.

ISO 9001:2008 certification pertains to a management system that provides products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. ISO 13485:2003 certification relates to a management system that provides medical devices and associated services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

"ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certifications for our Louisville laboratories now provide an added level of assurance to all our overnight and large project DNA sequencing customers that their samples are handled under rigorous quality standards," Patricia Buck, director of quality for Eurofins MWG Operon, said in a statement.
