NEW YORK — Consumer genomics services firm DescendantsDNA said Thursday that it has signed on the Broad Institute's Broad Clinical Labs to provide it with whole-genome sequencing and related services.
DescendantsDNA provides its members with DNA self-test kits and healthcare reports based on their genetic profiles. Under an existing agreement, Houston-based DescendantsDNA uses Fabric Genomics' Fabric Enterprise software to help analyze customers' genomic data and generate the reports.
Financial and other terms of the deal with Broad Clinical Labs were not disclosed.
"Our proprietary reports offer personalized recommendations, aligning each member's DNA with the most effective therapies and providing comprehensive genetic, pharmacogenomic, and nutritional counseling," DescendantsDNA Founder, Chairman, and CEO Rod Cutsinger said in a statement.
