Sequencing service provider Cofactor Genomics has partnered with bioinformatics firm Novocraft Technologies in Malaysia to provide next-gen sequencing and analysis services to customers in Southeast Asia, the company said last week.

Under the agreement, St. Louis, Mo.-based Cofactor Genomics will provide customers with sequencing services, using its Illumina and Applied Biosystems SOLiD sequencing platforms, and Kuala Lumpur-based Novocraft will analyze the data using its own bioinformatics tools.
