NEW YORK — Cellink said on Monday that it has signed an agreement to commercialize a range of SeqWell's single-cell RNA sequencing and sample preparation products outside of the US.
Under the terms of the deal, Cellink will sell in ex-US markets SeqWell's PlexWell Single-Cell Rapid Kit for plate-based single-cell RNA sequencing, which is set to launch later this month, as well as its full line of PlexWell next-generation sequencing library preparation kits.
The companies have also agreed to collaborate on new multiplex genomic assay products.
Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Last month, Sweden-based Cellink signed a distribution agreement for Phasefocus' Livecyte high-content live-cell imaging platform. About a year ago, Beverly, Massachusetts-based SeqWell raised $9 million in Series B funding.
