Bill Bonnar has become senior vice president of operations at Illumina, a new position. He will be responsible for overseeing Illumina's global manufacturing and supply chain. Bonnar joins Illumina from KLA-Tencor, a semiconductor equipment provider, where he was most recently vice president of operations for the company’s reticle and photomask inspection as well as its ebeam divisions. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic University.
