Aros to Provide Sequence Analysis on CLC Bio's Platform


European sequencing service provider Aros Applied Biotechnology is now offering its customers the option to receive their next-gen sequencing data in CLC Bio's format. Customers will also receive a time-limited license for the CLC Genomics Workbench.

The deal covers all steps, including extraction, sample banking, and analysis and advanced bioinformatics.

The two companies are also collaborating with other organizations in a $5 million sequence analysis project of formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissues samples (IS 9/14/2010).

Financial terms of the recent deal were not disclosed.
