Agilent Technologies has named SeqWright as its first certified service provider for its SureSelect target enrichment system with the Applied Biosystems SOLiD sequencing platform, the firms said last week.

Besides SureSelect, Houston-based SeqWright also uses NimbleGen Sequence Capture Arrays and RainDance Technologies' microdroplet PCR technology for target sequence enrichment and is an authorized service provider for NimbleGen arrays.

SeqWright, which is both CLIA-certified and GLP-compliant, is a contract research organization that offers both clinical trial and research genomic services. For next-gen sequencing, the firm uses the 454 GS FLX and ABI SOLiD 4 platforms.
