ABgene SuperPlates

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched ABgene SuperPlates, a range of 96-well PCR plates made out of ultra-rigid polypropylene that have reduced warping. The new plates “maintain all the advantages of polypropylene,” such as low reagent binding, enhanced thermal transfer properties, and high vapor retention, but also offer “a more efficient, even heat transfer with no warping,” according to the manufacturer. Customized bar coding is available, and the range includes plates to suit different thermal cycler brands.
