NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Single-cell analysis company 1CellBio has signed a reseller and licensing agreement with Hangzhou Chengyuan Genomics Company, a life science research and development startup based in Hangzhou, China.
Under the agreement, Hangzhou Chengyuan Genomics will sell 1CellBio's InDrop instrument for single-cell RNA sequencing as well as the kits and consumables. It will also provide single-cell analysis research services to customers in China.
Colin Brenan, CEO of 1CellBio, said in a statement that the deal would help "drive the adoption of our platform and transform single-cell analysis research around the world."
Xi Chen, CEO of Hangzhou Chengyuan Genomics, added, "Ultra-high throughput single-cell analysis is one of the most exciting breakthroughs in life science over the last few years and will be a key driver for new discoveries for years to come."
