NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Swift Biosciences has announced a partnership with TATAA Biocenter that will help both companies expand their presence in Europe through TATAA's distribution and support of Swift's next-generation sequencing products in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
The strategic partnership will help expand the utility of US-based Swift's NGS sample prep products into key applications, such as liquid biopsy analysis, for European end-users, the company said. In addition to product distribution and support, TATAA will also incorporate Swift's NGS products into its NGS training courses offered throughout the year in various places in Europe.
"We are pleased to be partnering with an elite organization like TATAA Biocenter to train end users on the value of our differentiated product lines," Swift President and CEO Timothy Harkins said in a statement. Swift will also provide TATAA with reagents and support for its educational courses on NGS applications, as well as technical expertise for TATAA's role as a Cancer-ID Consortium partner in Europe.
"With Swift's library kits, we can help our customers obtain larger yields and greater sequence coverage from small volume samples like FFPE and liquid biopsies," TATAA President Mikael Kubista added.
