A new precision medicine-focused journal from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press is looking for manuscript submissions, the publisher says.
The new open-access journal, called Cold Spring Harbor Molecular Case Studies, is to focus on how approaches like genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, biomarker analysis, and others can inform disease studies of development and the development of new treatment approaches. In particular, the journal will concentrate on cancer and neurological conditions as well as complex diseases, orphan diseases, infectious diseases, and more.
It plans to publish research reports and articles as well as follow-up reports, review articles, editorials, and position statements. During its launch phase, the journal notes that its open-access fee will be waived.
Elaine Mardis from Washington University in St. Louis is serving as editor-in-chief.
