IncellDx Gets IVD, CE-IVD Status for Single-Cell Prep Kit

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – IncellDx announced today that it has received CE-IVD marking from European regulators as well as US Food and Drug Administration IVD Class I status for its IncellPrep single-cell preparation kit for solid tissues.

According to the company, the kit uses a proprietary non-enzymatic method to prepare intact, single-cell suspensions from tissue in less than 10 minutes. Single cells can then be suspended in the company's IncellMax preservative to optimize analysis of proteins, mRNA, and cell cycle/morphology simultaneously by technologies such as flow cytometry, image cytometry, and circulating tumor cell instruments.
