Thomas Adams and Jason Van Tassel


Thomas Adams has joined the board of directors of Xenomics, the New York-based company said yesterday. He was a founder of Genta. He is also CEO of Leucadia Technologies, and was co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Gen Probe.

Jason Van Tassel was named to the scientific advisory board of CalbaTech, which owns antisense and RNAi reagent firm Molecula. Van Tassel is a physician with a practice specializing in plastic surgery in Los Angeles. Previously, he was a researcher with Hybritech. CalbaTech is an early-stage company focusing on the acquisition of molecular and cellular biology technology platforms in the US and the UK.
