Tekmira Nears Listing on Nasdaq

Tekmira Pharmaceuticals said this week that it is in the process of filing the necessary documentation with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to list its shares on the Nasdaq exchange.

The company said that it expects to begin selling its stock on the exchange mid-November.

Tekmira announced its intention to go public in the US in May (GSN 5/13/2010).
