R Scott Greer, Amir Nashat

R Scott Greer has been appointed to the board of medical device maker Inogen.
Greer, who is managing director of venture capital firm Numenor Ventures, was previously chairman of Sirna Therapeutics, which was acquired by Merck earlier this year.

Polaris Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, has named Amir Nashat as a general partner focusing on seed, early-stage, and growth equity life science companies.
Among Polaris’ investments is Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.
