Qiagen recently launched the MagAttract virus mini M48 kit for the simultaneous purification of viral DNA and RNA from serum and plasma using the BioRobot M48 workstation.

Ambion recently introduced its MessageAmp II aRNA amplification kit.

New England BioLabs recently introduced the ShortCut RNAi kit.

The kit is a complete system for the in vitro generation of short double-stranded RNA mixtures suitable for use in mammalian cells, said the company.

The kit includes reagents for both high-yield in vitro transcription of large dsRNA and subsequent processing into short fragments using highly concentrated RNase III with a modified reaction buffer containing manganese.
