Qiagen, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press

Qiagen has recently launched the TransFect protocol database, which provides DNA, RNA, and siRNA transfection protocols for a range of cell types and plate or dish formats.
Use of the online database is free, Qiagen said.
The company also said it has introduced Attractene transfection reagent, a non-liposomal lipid designed to enable DNA transfection of adherent cells. The reagent is also suitable for shRNA vector transfection, the company said.

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press has introduced the C. elegans Atlas, a detailed anatomical atlas of C. elegans designed for laboratory use.
According to the company, the book is a large-format, full-color atlas of the model organism.
