NanoString has introduced the nCounter miRGE assay, which is designed to allow the investigation of both miRNA and mRNA levels in a single reaction.

The assay works with the company's nCounter analysis system.

The assay “provides the capacity to perform multiplexed profiling of 5 [to] 30 miRNAs and 100 [to] 200 mRNAs simultaneously, with specificity and sensitivity comparable to qPCR,” the company said.
