Norgen Biotek has expanded its line of urine-based sample preparation products to include a kit for isolating microRNAs suitable for molecular biology applications.
According to the company, the kit can preserve, concentrate, and purify miRNAs from less than 1 milliliter up to 50 milliliters of urine.
The Drug Information Association has scheduled its third Oligonucleotide-based Therapeutics Conference for March 23-25 in Bethesda, Md.
The event will include sessions focused on "targeted therapeutics and exploratory approaches of oligonucleotide-based therapeutic drugs, including bioinformatics, microRNAs, delivery, impurities and metabolism, thresholds, and pre-clinical immune screenings" prior to investigational new drug application filings, according to DIA. RNAi technologies, including ones focused on drug delivery, will also be addressed.
