Benitec said that it has established a chief investigators group.

The new group, which brings the company's scientific founders together with its collaborative partners, will replace Benitec's scientific advisory board.

Members of the CIG include Michael Graham, the discoverer of Benitec's expressed RNAi technology; Ken Reed, a Benitec founder; John Rossi, a researcher at the City of Hope; Yorke Zhu, the founder of Benitec partner Biomics Biotechnologies; Maria Kavallaris, a researcher at the University of New South Wales; and Peter French, Benitec's CEO.
