Mirna Therapeutics announced that David Johnson has joined the company as a scientific advisor.

Johnson is the chair of internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Before that, he was a researcher at Vanderbilt University. He also served on the US Food and Drug Administration's oncology drug advisory committee.
