Tekmira Pharmaceuticals has appointed Paul Brennan as its senior vice president of business development.

Prior to joining Tekmira, Brennan was a principal at consulting firm Pacific BioPartners. Before that, he was CEO of Altair Therapeutics. He has also held various roles at Aspreva Pharmaceuticals, AnorMed, and AstraZeneca.

He has an MSc and BSc from Queen's University.
