Daniel Anderson, Charles Cooney, and Robert Langer have joined the scientific advisory board of Alnylam Biotherapeutics, a division of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.

Anderson is a faculty member in the department of chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Division of Health Science Technology and the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT.

Cooney is the Robert T. Haslam professor of chemical and biochemical engineering and faculty director for the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at MIT. He is currently a director of Polypore International and Biocon, a principal at BioInformation Associates, and a director of Genzyme.

Langer is the David H. Koch Institute Professor at MIT and a member of the Institute of Medicine, the National Academy of Engineering, and the National Academy of Sciences.
